Final Fantasy 7 rom

Ive been looking for close to 2 hours now for a Final Fantasy 7 rom. Just wondering if any of u know a place that might have it.

I have FF7 for the PC. Not the ROM, I mean the real thing. Except there is one problem. It doesn't work on XP.

If you must know, this is my favorite game of all time.

My fav game of all time also, I have it for my Playstation but.... ever since i got PS2 i got rid of my old memory cards and i cant save the game on PS2 cards

Ill prolly just go buy a memory card tomorrow, but im still open for the rom if someone happens to stumble across it

And have u tried the compatibility wizard with FF7 Evan? Right click the shortcut and tell it to run as if u had Win95 or sumthin, might work

I wonder if running in Windows 98 compatibility mode will let me play FF7 on XP

If the compatibility works u wouldnt mind sending it to me through aim or kazaa would ya? I understand if u dont but worth a try:D

I was also looking at some threads and (I dunno if this is true) they were talking about a patch for FF7 that fixed the WinXP prob.

I had no problem running FF7 on winXP with no changes.

Although, FF3 is by far the best ever, FF7 was mediocre.

Before Downloading Patch:Alot of ppl on kazaa have the "FFVII WinXP working patch v1.5" although if u find the right site it should be there too.

After Downloading Patch:DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE IT IS A VIRUS

MSI KT4-ultra
Gainward GF4 TI 4200 128mb(41.09 drivers probably since I used these forever because they never had any problems with them)
SB Live (newest driver from creative)
1024mb ram 512 x 2 pc 2100

I had read about problems people had when I was looking for a character editor, never encountered them myself.

There are different sized patches, prolly ones with virus and ones without. If u have a virus scanner go into kazaa and search for Final Fantasy 7 under software, alot of patches will come up. If u dont have an anti-virus let me know and ill look for a patch for ya.
