However, I have to disagree with Mikes point about crouching. I've lost quite a few fights against people who drop as soon as they know I'm going for the head. They pump half a dozen rounds into my belly as I hit the wall behind them. The red-blurring of vision when getting hit repeatedly and the enemies slight side-ways movement can make it tough to tag them in such a situation with any great accuracy.

Im going to agree with Mike on this. There is no easier target for me than someone who is crouching. They are pretty much stationary, and any movement they do make is slow. A stationary target is real easy to shoot in the head.

Gotta love Zog's way of putting it... but please, for the love of god, don't stop on the back stairs unless you are trying to hand out ammo or meds or something... if there's a flamer down there, RUSH HIM! Don't ever stop attacking on allies. That's the best way to win, constant pressure.

I usually don't make it out of the WR with docs because I play LT, but I try to nade people in the WR and then cap the docs to apply pressure and distract whoever is there...

Also, if you have a heavy weapon (flamer or panzer) try to take it to the WR! Don't stand around trying to annoy the annoyers outside the doors... those heavy weapons will take out the 5 guys with venoms in the WR a lot faster than nades...

On axis, comms are key... tell your team where the attack is coming from, and tell them where the doc carrier is going... other than that, axis has the advantage....

Another thing is when you're on Allies and have the docs, DON'T STAY IN THE WAR ROOM. Axis reinforcements spawn every 15 seconds so anyone you killed trying to clear the WR will be pointless. The least you can do is run as far as you can in hopes a teammate behind you will pick up the docs.

Another thing that really bothers me is when people with the docs try to barge into the radio room all alone when going the long way. When I run it in I usually make sure someone his behind me so if I get panzered he can just pick it up for the win. I see this way too often. Someone has the docs and tries to go it alone. If he would've waited 10 more seconds me and a lot of other reinforcements could've followed him. Remember, it's not about YOU winning it, it's about the team winning it, even if you have to die in the process.

I myself, love playing as a medic. I have my syringe set to my right mouse button so its only a faint click of the finger to revive someone, I normally do a run by-crouch-stick-run revive keeps me moving twards the next downed player and keeps the attention on me so the player I just revived who is hopefully not a noob will fire at the opposed team and kill them while a distraction is running.

Often times there are multiple teammates down, I jump from soldier to soldier trying to keep as much fire off me as I can, and I use the newly revived teammate as a shield from fire, better he get hit with his revive shield than a downed medic

I fight 1vs1 in a figure 8 manner, long as I keep my head and body moving they cant get high damage shots, I find something to put between us while throwing down health then jumping back into the battle and taking them out. so thats a strafe left, jump, kneel, strafe right, kneel, jump, kneel, strafe left, jump, jump.. keep it erratic, unpredictable and keep firing at their chest or head.

As a soldier with a mauser, I like to sometimes stand with my whole body in view, this tempts the opposed side to start sniping then I can play my little game with them till some medic comes and poisons me. As a medic I snipe, throw health, snipe, throw health, strafe run twards the other snipers and syringe them, pisses them off quite a bit. I love every bit of it :D

while my sniping ways may sound sucky, its just a game I like to see whos better than me and I learn their tactics/speed/acuracy/impossibility and agility.

OK HERES WHAT I DO ...

I PREFER TO OUTSNIPE SNIPER W/ EITHER MY LUGER OR PANZER... RIFLES SUCK...

I DONT STRAIF AT ALL I JUST RUN AND TURN... IF SOMEONE DUCTS WHEN YUR RUNNIN AT EM JUMP AT BLAST HEADSHOTS... FLAMERS RUN AT THEM.. VENOMS 9 TIMES OUTTA 10 ARE ABOVE YOU... USUALLY I ONLY SEE THERE HEADS.. AGAIN CHARGE IN AND KILL EM....

MY BIGGEST THING IS TO GET AXIS TO FOLLOW YOU AND LAY NADE AT RIGHT TIME TO KILL THEM W/ REPLENISHING YURSLEF W/ HEALTH....

GOOMBA'S TEND TO SKULL ME...

MY PET PEEVE W/ PPL IS THE BACKSTAIRS... IU HATE NOT BEING HTE 1ST PERSON TO THE BOTTOM.... I RUN IN TO BASEMENT SHOOT GUY IMMEDIATE TO ME..... THEN THROW NADE TO BOTTOM OF STAIRS EXPECTING REINFORCENTS THEN NADE TO CORNER OF STAIRS IN CASE I DIE.... USUALLY 10 PPL ARE AT STAIRS RIGHT ABOVE BASEMENT SO GO JUMPING TO RUN IN AND IM PANZERED B4 I HIS BASEMNT FLOOR....

OK THE DUCTS SITUATION WHEN AN ALLIE.... YOU CAN JUMP OVER RAIL TO DUCTS W/ OUT A AXIS PLAYER IN BASEMNT SEEING YOU.. THERE ARE 2 WAYS OF DOING IT.. RIDE THE RAIL DOWN OR KNOW THE SPOT AND JUMP FROM THE STAIRS.... THIS WAY AXIS PPL WONT FOLLOW YOU INTO DUCTS AND KILL EVERYONE B/C YOU CAME IN HEADFIRST NOT WATCHING YUR BACK......

AS AN AXIS.... THE MOST IMPORTANT SPOT IN THE GAME IS THE UPPER BASE... THIS REGULATES HOW MANY ALLIES CAN MAKE IT TO THE DUCTS.... 3-4 DECENT PLAYERS CAN HOLD IT ALONE VS 10 ALLIES COMIN... NADE BENIFIT YOU SO MUCH ITS SICK... YOU NEED 15 PPL IN WR AND 2 ON UPPER... STOP THE PROBLEM FROM WHERE IT STARTS....

AS AN ALLY... MOST IMPORTANT IS THE BASEMNT... GIVE YUR RUNNERS ACHANCE TO ESCAPE.... I KNOW HALF THE TIME I GET THE DOCS RUNNIN GPAST 5-10 AXIS ONLY 2 DIE THE 2 GUYS IN THE BASEMNT.... AND ESCAPE ROUTE IS A MUST....

AND...

WHEN YUR ALLIES AND YOU THAT OBJECTIVE IS TAKEN... DO NOT CONTINUE TO GO TO WR... RUN TO BACKSTAIRS IF YOU SEE ONJ CARRIER COMING OUT... IMMEDIATELY RUN TO RADIO ROOM AND OLD THE DOOR SO THE OBJ CARRIER HAS A CHANCE TO RUN IN.....

MANY TIMES I SEE NOOB RUN TOWARD CARRIER FOLLOWED BY 2-3 AXIS WHO SPAM NADES AND KILL CARRIER... DONT RUN FROM THEM .... KILL THM... PROCTECT THE CARRIER...

OK ILL ADD MORE WHEN I REMEMBER MORE

My tips:

1) Kill the players on the other team
2) Try not to get killed yourself
3) As an allie, steal the documents from the war room and return them back to the radio room

Then the salute key is going to work perfectly in that case :P

Having more than one person in the ducts is not as effective as having one person, because people get in each others way and end up getting both people killed.

Oh, I forgot to mention.. when there is a flamer camping the stairs, I pull out a nade and charge it for 2 1/2 clicks and then go running in and try to die at his feet, they never see the nade under you (but can sometimes hear it) and when you go boom, they will either gib or die, and in very rare cases they will get hurt to like 10hp and their flame will touch them and they die anyways.

btw, its come to my attention that when you inject someone with poison via the syringe, you get hurt.. why is this?

On an unrelated theme, I'd like to set up a fund for Fat Tony/ S.S. Anguish. If we all contributed 25 cents, we could have enough money to buy him a keyboard which has a working caps-lock key.

Or, even better, though it would cost a bit more, we could take away his keyboard entirely and substitute one of those game-pad devices. He'd probably find it very good for playing Wolf, but, alas, wouldn't be able to contribute much into the forums beyond 'right, left, run, stop, shoot, jump, crouch, change weapon'.

Wraith--I actually thought you were teaching me something new with that jump/crouch combo for extra jump distance. I'm embarrassed to admit I actually tried it a number of times. Jerk :p
