I don't know about what is my favourite movie, but Titanic will appear on the list somewhere, so would "The Cage" starring Lou Ferrigno, hunky man...:D

Did anyone ever watch the 1986 mini Sci-fi series called "V"? That would have to be my favourite TV recommendation.

Giggles.

There was another thread like this once upon a time called "What's your top ten movies?", or something to that effect...

Since everyone eventually names off the common or recent ones, here are some that haven't been named yet (you younguns need to check out some older movies, a lot of them stand the test of time really well...)

Apocolypse Now
The Bridge on the River Kwai
Star Wars (O.T.)
Seven Samurai (anything by Kurosawa is good...)
Jaws
The Wild Bunch
The Right Stuff
Bladerunner
Thunderball (James Bond!)
The Shawshank Redemption
The Lord of the Rings

Some personal favs...

Big Trouble in Little China
Evil Dead 2
Army of Darkness (All right you primitive screwheads... Listen up! This... is my BOOMSTICK!)
The Boondock Saints
The Big Lebowski (any Coen brothers movie is good...)
Mallrats (Kevin Smith movies rule... :D )
Support Your Local Sheriff
