Experienced players Hints and Tactics

Axis, be a medic. Go to sniper hill, poison the local snipers, most the time they're too stupid to look when they hear someone puking their guts out. throw down your mp40, pick up rifles, start sniping every one that runs around the wall to the breach. lay down health packs, someone is gonna try to snipe you, and they will hit you. let them come to the hill, dance and jump around the hill letting them miss you with plenty shots, poison them if your good enough, if not take a few pop shots with the luger, conserve rifle or mp40 ammo. kill them, pick up whatever they drop. next time there will be 2 allied soldiers coming for ya, and the number will increase untill your dead. this is the most fun I have on RTCW. running and reviving isnt fun for me, but its my job, this is my only get away.

BTW, if another medic comes to get you.. you better take them out as fast as possible or they will regenerate their health just like you do.

zig zag back and forth when aproaching snipers. keep health pack out, you might need to throw some down. sometimes they get ya.

Radram here ...umm guys there is only so much strategy you can squeeze out of one map for God's sake . I mean damn why is this the only map you guys play ? Most of you guys are decent players ,its a shame that you stagnate on beach so damn much. i believe the server has ran its 64 player test on one map , try Airstrip2 or Tank or anything just try anything.

Been tried before radram... then all of the complainers came out of the woodwork and it got switched back...

I personally liked the server when it was on Fun Beach 2... that was a cool map; better than airstrip IMO...

Tank is a good one as well...

It is not for you to judge what I enjoy. If you wish to hop around and experience different things, then enjoy. Don't tell me I'm stagnating or have that tone in your words. You've no idea who I am or what motivates me to do what I do. Just because I don't perform in a way you find desireable does NOT give you the right to assume or imply that my actions are less than some moral par you've established.

I like Beach. It's a simple map. It gets right into the action, no 3 minute hikes from one place to another. I come on line to shoot people. That's why I like Beach. I spawn. There's the enemy. Shoot.

If you like complicated objectives, or large complicated maps, then all the power to you. Enjoy them.

Regarding the strategy contained in this thread, it is for the most part general fighting strategies, with only a small percent devoted to specific scenarios that occur in Beach.

Personally I think it's awesome that many great players have contributed here, shareing with new people, and to the experienced (I've certainly learned a few things) what tweaks their performance.

ouch keek....btw guys ..i posted a thread about this, but got no replies..in wolfenstein for dummies it says you can change where your air support attacks after you throw the can..by moving back wards right after you throw it will move it closer to you for example...is this true

beach and depot are the only places that 64 people is fun, and depot games would last hours, becasue engineers can spawn right next to the dynamite that the other team planted to win the game so beach is by far the best for this many people..never played fun beach 2 so i dunno

A good tactic is whenever you are playing, to either put your settings to extremely dark, or turn off the monitor so it makes it difficult for the enemy to see you.

i agree w/ keek 100%. i played all other maps... there boring as hell. beach is fun from start to finish. non stop action. other maps i quit b4 i see any opposition b/c its like 10 min into the game. this isnt fun for me. i killing action. thats what makes the game fun. not running allover the place and getting lost if yur unfamiliar w/ the map. all said and done. BEACH IS THE BEST MAP.
