Invisible Flame ???
Has anyone else noticed that flamers can produce an invisible flame in certain parts of the Beach level? It may just be my imagination, or perhaps a cheat that I don't know about.
If it is not my imagination then, is this glitch fixable?

I have noticed this too. It is always by back stairs and the flame gets blocked by the railing but you still get hit by flame even though there is no flame there. This sucks when you are on allies.

Yep, I noticed that before I upgraded my vid card to a Geforce4, but every once in a while I start on fire and have no clue how it started. (by a flamer duh heheh) I think flamers do way too much damage, but hey I cant complain, I'm glad we dont lose control of ourselves and run around with our arms flailing and screaming AHHH AHHHH IT BURNS! sort of like when you get poisoned.

Besides the flailing like your poisoned thing, i think it would be quite commical to see people screaming AHHH AHHHH IT BURNS! Hehe.. maybe Im just evil.

Invisi-flaming is a very common exploit. It's illegal in almost all competition levels of play:P It's not due to graphics, video-cards, or ram. Just a little glitch in rtcw. It's commonly done by shooting against a corner of a wall making an invisible patch that allies run through.
