When your interested in someone, how do you show it? How would you go about linging things so you can get a date?
Anything from good one-liners at bars to the month long romantic seige.
I'm 39 and not unexperienced when it comes to dating. I'll share my uh...'wisdom' on the matter after things get warmed up

Here's my top 10, all of them very effective....
1. Tempt them with long, candlelit walks through abandoned cemetaries.
2. Inform them of my standing in the International Star Trek Society.
3. Offer to share foodstamps and government cheese with them (not too much though...)
4. Offer a ride in my 85 chevy cavalier (nothing like a classic to bring in the ladies)
5. Show them my collection of rare and poisonous insects, spiders and snakes (some dead, some living... it's a surprise!)
6. Ask if they washed their clothes with windex... (because I can see myself in your pants...)
7. Show them my 12 toes (while hinting about what else I have a lot of...)
8. Compliment them. (something like, "Your eyes sparkle like newly-blown mucus" )
9. Offer them a try out at the local strip club (you know the owner and go there all the time). Be sure to follow this up with offers to judge for her...
10. Offer to take her to a spa. Be sure to get the point home that she could really use it...

But then, so am I (39).
I show them how many teeth I have, then regurgitate a lot of fish and whatever woodland creature got to close to the water that day. If that doesn't work, they're just not worth having.

From a women's point of view or shall I say mine point of view is be yourself don't put on an act, show them who you are make yourself comfortable with them, and if she doesn't like the way you really are then apparentally she is not worth your time
And as far as car and money and necessities go, it does not impress me, some women yes it is all they look for or want in a man now the man must have a job at least, I don't care where as long as he is trying and doing good for himself
And when approaching a women introduce yourself try and make a simple conversation with her if she turns you down oh well you haven't lost anything you just move on there are plenty more out there.... or let the women come to you

I'd like to rant and rave here about how women just have to look attractive, a pretty spider web, and wait for some poor dufus to get ensnared. I'd like to go on and on about how it's men who have to apply cunning and thought to the matter, but, really, I don't want to turn this thread into a gender war
Not to say that it doesn't work the other way. The more a guy works out and works on his 'cool-image' the easier it is for him. Women just have...oh--about 20,000 years of perfecting this art over us.
