Given that the Smokin' Room is the pre-eminent forum for serious discussions of the day (Meet the Press, bite me), which of the following would you say is the best way to solve California's problems?
1. Elect Ah-nuld.
2. Elect a toaster oven.
3. Give it back to Mexico.
4. Que'?
Please explain your answers, preferably in a language none of us can read.
For most of us, that would be English.

And yes, I voted for the toaster oven, because there's just no problem that cannot be solved by a good piece of toast.

The best way to solve California's problems is to set off some MASSIVE explosions on the San Andreas fault line and dump California into the sea!

Well... I don't know, but how many people here came to this country broke when they were 18 years old, won the most prestigious bodybuilding prize (or won anything) several times, made several hit movies (and several lousy ones too...), made some excellent investments, built some successful businesses, and are worth between $200M and $500M?
I'm not insinuating that Arnold is the perfect person for the job. However, I am saying that the man has continues to prove that he is a good manager (definition of a good manager: someone who surrounds himself with SMEs* that are smarter than he/she is). IMO, what CA needs right now is someone that can manage the economy and the issues with education (overcrowding, underpaid teachers, supplies, etc.) without putting further burden on businesses and the CA citizens.

Given that the toaster oven is doing better than expected by the media, does anyone have the $3500 to enter it into the race? My toaster oven is eminently qualified, as it can do toast, biscuits, and bagels. Sure, it's been recalled because of a tendency to catch fire, but I prefer to think of that as youthful vigor.
