Case Fans, Decisions

Postby WDPsellout » Fri Aug 29, 2003 3:24 pm

ok, I want to buy two more case fans, I don't want any fancy water-sink nitrogen subzero (made up) cooling system just two more fans, what are two good fans that would get the job done.

I have two 4-pin connectors, i have one 4-pin with cables coming from the psu to the 4-pin connector, then splits into the hard drive from the 4 pin connector, could I use that 4-pin connector cuz you could still plug something into it?

Been building systems for 13 years.

I have Sunons that are about that old still going. Panaflo's quiet, but it's too hard to find finished tails, especially three-pin finished tails. Sunon's got some fans that are just as quiet as the Panaflos, that move just as much air, that typically cost a lot less and are easier to find. Sidewinder Computers (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com) has them.

And for the diffrent sizes what is a good way to estimate what size fan that you need to get, is there like a system to judge it on, or you buy what ever you want?

Basicly I want one fan to cool down my gfx card, and the other fan to cool down my P4.
