What are some of your favorite funny stories to tell us? What are some of the funniest things you have seen or done while playing rtcw?

Today, I got to participate in a knife fight competition on the 24/7 Beach server. Myhopesanddreams and I squared off in a piercing battle, on snipers hill. Once the grenade in the air exploded it was time to begin. The first match we decided to be Lts, just to make it fair we picked the same class, we would drop ammo to give ourselves extra knives during the bout. With blood on my blade and cuts on my body I stood there, the winner.

The second and third battle were as medics, we decided not to drop health, because the battle would last forever. I was the victor in both, barely. I squeaked by with 23 health left in one of the match.

If anyone else wants to participate in, what i hope to be an ongoing knife fight battles, please let me know.

I think the axis team succeeded in defending the docs during the duration.

we have races on the shit storm extreme server where everybody meets at a barrier and then it's the fastest one that reaches the temple

only rule is that you have to crawl

crawling race..sounds exciting.. me and wraith like to race from the war room to the boats on the beach..he always beats me but im catchin up : p

That knife fighting competition has, grown alittle more since that last post. At about 3-5am (est) is when those battles take place.

The other night for instance, we had about 5 different people standing in a circle around the two fighters.

There have been some great matches.

Here are a couple rtcw related stories:

A couple months ago, I was an allied panzer...I had cleared alot of the wr, but no other allies were alive...so I grabbed docs, and ran long, hoping for some back. I ran into 2 Nazis...chasing me up the back stairs, and I was deperately looking for backup...but none. So I hop down into trenches, with almost no health left, being chased....and I find CaptainCrunch, a medic, and I toss him the docs. He looks stunned for a good 10 secs....he wasnt really moving or anything (I learned later that he was on the phone when I tossed him the docs, and it caught him totally off guard). He heals me, then we rush the radio room going long (from the trenches)....we make it so close, then captain dies with the docs right before they are transmitted, and I pick em up and win it. Although I have no love for the Captain, I must admit...that was some kickass teamwork.

Another time...on another server, the greatest shot I've ever made...I was an axis panzer, and it was a new round (dyno had not been planted). I was killed by a sniper or something, revived....then when I was still invulernable, I got hit with an airstrike, which sent me flying from the trenches, all the way towards sniper hill. In midair, I turn around, spot 1 med, and 2 engs gathered at the sea wall breach, just about to plant. Flying thru the air at top speed, I manage to panzer them in midair (gravity for panzers was on), while I continued fly to the hill. I landed (didnt crater cuz it was more horizontal motion than veritcal), then I waited for my next panzer shot to charge...and managed to nail the next engineer from behind, all the way from sniper hill.

Ok thats my stories....any one else got any other funny tales? This topic needs more posts =D

a couple days ago, i was an axis soldier with a panzer, i was knifing some snipers, when all the sudden i look up and see the doc carrier run by at upper bunker.

since i saw a message in a console showing about 6 of my teamies get killed/gibbed, i knew that it was over.

so, just effin around, i fired one last panzer into the upper bunker window....it killed the doc carrier in the radio room!

well, i thought i had just gotten some luck, but then i hear 'objective taken' and then the allies win. so even though we lost, i think that is prolly one of the best shots ever made.

I was playing beach the other night and got a mid air gib with a nade. I was running towar the bunker door to plant, when another engie flipped a nade toward the bunker roof. I had one in my hand, counting the ticks. He threw his one tick before mine. When his hit, it blew a nazi into the air right beside my nade. My nade went off in mid air right beside him and blew him all over the top of the bunker

I was an axis medic once who was reincarnated right in front of an allied Lieutenant distibuting ammo. He loaded me up with bullets and then I gave them right back to him, only a lot faster.
