I am getting a 512mb ddr sdram pc2700 133mhz ram this friday or saturday for 100 bux at best buy, then ill get a 3.0 or higher processor some time after.

Its not your fault thats just how the computer industry works. You go out and by a (for example) 4.5ghz P4 2gig of ram computer next day they come out with P5 10gigs of ram and a 20ghz processor ;) .

Don't feel so bad, Dan. My current computer was obsolete two months after I bought it - they didn't even sell processors in my speed (1.8Ghz) after that. :help: :violin:

Maybe I can convince Mrs. _Acid to let me shell out a few bucks for a nice shiny new motherboard, processor, and say... 1Gb of RAM. :D

:) Well, I didn't complain when she came home this weekend with two new pairs of shoes (which, IMHO, she obviously didn't need), so... she owes me. :D
