Everything that has a beginning, has an end.

Off topic, but don't go too far overboard - after all, we are watching...heh.

Who's gonna be the first ones to see it? Anyone seeing it in in IMAX? I'm going to be seeing it on opening day of course, and it's also a friend's 18th birthday so we're all taking her too.

This is THE movie to see, until next month when ROTK is THE movie to see again..hehe This is must be how Star Wars fans must of have been like for Return of the Jedi back in the 80s... It's not often a movie with a trilogy comes out, last good one was what, Back to the Future? (There was Once Upon a Time in Mexico recently but that sucked major balls...

"The program Smith has grown beyond your control." Ooooo!

This movie has grown beyond it's ability to suck, gone back to being good, and then right on to sucking again.

The most degenerate cumm-guzzling whore on the planet can still hold her head high and say "Well, at least there's still something that sucks more than me!"

I'm not really into the matrix big...my friend watches those movies like he's in a cult, so the only reason I'm going to see it is because he'll kill me if i dont

anyway, I hope its good. I don't really like LOTR either...meh, call me weird.

I actually have seen it already - saw it last Thursday. I'd be very interested to hear what folks thought of it. If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to share my thoughts (and any spoilers you may care for) in a PM.

I hate fantasy films, and LOTR is as 'fantasy' as you can get. I do, however, LOVE the battle scenes in the movies. I sit thru the entire movie waiting for the wars.

If there werent any big battles, I wouldn't watch the movies at all

Well, if you're only going for the battle scenes, then you without a doubt need to go and see the Return of the King. The Battle of the Pelennor Fields is shaping up to be the best on screen battle EVER. No exaggeration. But it will be just past the middle of the movie, so if you don't want to sit through all 3.5 hours, you could always leave right after that :). I would stay though, because this movie is going to be much more emotional and cover themes that transcend the "fantasy" genre. I would consider Willow "fantasy," I would consider The Lord of the Rings as "dramatic fantasy."
I could go into all of this more, but I won't :).

Oh yeah, concerning the Matrix. I haven't even seen the second one yet so I'll probably try to get around to it. However, I've heard some not so enthusiastic opinions about it. I liked the first movie but I felt that it was more of a stand alone movie. After walking out of the theater after seeing the first one, everyone has that feeling of "wow, we might actually be in the Matrix and we don't even know it." I think that's why I liked the first. I've heard from several people who've seen the second, that that feeling is sort of lost when you have Keanu Reeves flying around like superman and such.

I'm skippin school tommorow to see it, baby!

Get the Reloaded DVD just for the MTV movie award spoof in the special features, ROFL!

I think the First one was amazing, orginal & entertaining, I thought Reloaded's beginning was awful, but it came through in the end, to at least keep the legacy going!
