I'm looking to get http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=246217 that mobo within 2 weeks, then by christmas or so, I'm going to order some DDR400 ram, then by the middle of february I'll either get a radeon 9800XT or the 2.4 c ghz chip and run it about as seen here http://www.cluboverclocker.com/reviews/cpu/intel/p4/2.4c/2.htm I may skip this part and just get the 9800XT first, cause I will probabily see more performace increase from the 9800 then a cpu at 3.3 instead of 3.0 but a nice bundle either way. I'm not going to be doing much besides school, working, and eating ramen noodles, and saving up to build my baby lol. I'm going to graduate here at the beginning of the summer with an associates in network administration and I want to have the sick gaming machine to match. yes I am a computer nerd. lol

*shakes head*

That's what you think. Fact is, the 9600 Pro is a great alternative to anything GeForce and non-9700/9800.

I just ordered that Albatron mobo. I can't wait. Finally AGP 8x (nice to say I have it yes, but I just want to know I'm getting the most out of my graphics card) also I can overclock the chip a bit, I have a 2.4b and it runs at 22c currently with my new fan configuration so we'll see how it works. my vid card is a GF4Ti4800Se incase anyone was going to ask. BTW that is a very nice system evan, I don't want to look like a prick for posting my specs up next to yours man, I just figured this was an appropriate place. Have a good one all.

But we hate your computer, so that doesn't matter :D

Ryan: 9600? Bah.. its great for people with semi-low budgets that want a reliable DX9 card....

The only problem with the 9600 series cards is that they only have 4 rendering pipelines instead of 8. The 9700/9800 series have 8 pipelines. I use an 8500le 128 ddr w/agp4x with no frame issues. Since I upgraded my mobo + cpu + mem to 1 gig of Dual channel 400 DDR my frame rates are between 80 - 100 fps.
