new matrix

Postby Sir Loin » Thu Nov 06, 2003 3:05 am

i just saw the new matrix movie, and it blew ass. I started laughing during the movie because it was that bad. Anyone else see it and think it was a horrible movie?? Drop Dead Fred was a better movie.

I agree. Here's how I feel about the trilogy: the Wachowski brothers wrote the first one, it was an incredible success, they dished out two more scripts with a million holes shrouded in ambiguous mumbo jumbo. I think alot of people liked the first one so much, they won't admit the sequels were subpar.

i kinda thought the first one was dumb. too many special affects and not enough closure. and for some reason i still see Bill every time i see keanu reeves.

I thought Revolutions was garbage - answered zero questions. IMHO, they should've just stopped at the first movie.

Wow, I thought it was awesome. The first movie obviously was a fabulous script and had some ground breaking effects. The second one bored me to death. But the third one I though was fantastic. I can't wait to see it again.

I seen it yesterday, it was okay, but what I didnt. understand was if NEO was the only one who could defeat "THE SMITH".... Then why would he go and make a deal with the machines??

"SMITH'' can take over machines......, NEO can defeat the "SMITH"........ but not the machines??..... kindof seemed that they messed up the story there, why not defeat the machines then "SMITH"???...... unless I am wrong , please feel to correct me and make me understand.....

:help:

Over all I the movie was okay, in my opinion the first two were great:)

I get the feeling some things were left open for future endeavors. Or maybe it was also intended to make a statement about the coexistence of them both.

They referenced the machines feeling love and other emotions when neo was in the train station. It was never stated that the machines would be destroyed. Just that the war would be over.

So is neo dead??? What the fuck happened to him. I think this movie was a cross between mech warriors, aladdin, and superman, which cannot be good.

It was crap, to much crap. It tried to hard to be good, with all the crap that was put in and long lines. Good vs Evil, without Good there can not be evil, all that crap. Then the big gun fights...uhhhh. Almost bad as reloaded.

Reloaded wasn't crap. Only the thing that evrything went far more easier than in part I sucked.
But a movie doesn't suck if they use some kind of 'philosophy'. No Evil without Good.
Or should we return to the movies where they only use gunfights? And that you, after 5 minutes of watching it, allready know how it ends?
I think some of you guys are too lazy too actually THINK about a story. And don't criticize it when you don't understand it, or criticize it when somebody else doesn't like it. Allmost all sequels are not better than part I, but Reloaded and Revolutions aren't that bad

I got the story and I just think the Wachowski brothers try to hard to make the movie something it's not.

Reloaded was crap. I didn't like it at all. One movie was fine. I don't think that there had to be three...

I guess no one realizes that the matrix was originally going to be a trilogy from the beginning.

I watched part 1 again, and it is the best part of the 3.
But it's a classic, so you can't compair Reloaded and Revolution with it. Besides, Matrix 1 was a totally new phenomenon, so that's why it's so populair right now.
With part 2 and 3, you don't really have 'new things'. Only a story, and special effects.
But I still like them all 3 :)
