Star Wars: KOTOR PC out

Postby JimmyTango » Wed Nov 19, 2003 2:39 pm

Supposedly, it is in stores today. There was no press release of it being shipped, it simply says in stores now. I have heard of people's preorders being delivered today, which is usually the day the stores first get them, too.

I'm so looking forward to this game. :D Thanks for the tip, Tango - I hadn't heard a peep about its release.

Yup, it is out, jus tpicked mine up at the local store. I'm in Ohio, and they usually ship from California, so just about everyone should have it for sale.

Outside of Akron, it is called Stow, right next to Kent(you knwo, Kent State).

So far the game seems fun. Off to go drinking heavily.

I think I am an online whore anymore. Single player games just don't do it for me. If I'm in front of the PC I should be talking to someone. If I want single player I'll bust out the Gamecube. I wish that would get more titles online.

I do not see why all PC title should be online. This isn't a FPS. I know, there have been onlien games with MP, but MP would hinder the story line, and that is what makes an RPG, it's story.

Agreed, Tango. The story is what differentiates a great single-player game from a great multi-player game.

Splinter Cell was not multi-player but I really enjoyed that game and how it progressed.

Knights of the Old Republic available online for $39.99 at bestbuy.com. I ordered online and picked-up from the store. It's $49.99 if you buy it off the shelf.

I haven't heard much about it, and I'm not into starwars games, but I like the movies.

So far it is very good. It is the best SW game I have played since Jedi Knight. Remember, this is an RPG, if you are expecting real time battles like in Jedi Knight, prepair for disapointment.
