My fucking ps2 just took a big shit on me!


It was working fine thanksgiving, and this morning, but now it's making a weird grinding noise, and not reading any discs!!!

FUCK!


Now i have to send the piece of sony shit out to michigan to get it repaired!

Everyone I know who has bought sony gamestations has had problems with them. PS2 is weakest system out now anyway I'd take my Dreamcast over Sony's weak ass system anyday.

Ummm......NO. Xbox and PS/2 fail at about the same rate. I work at a Retail Best Buy, and I'm they guy who gets to check 'em when someone returns it, and I get about the same number of each back, and both carry the same shitty 90day warr. And a Ps/2 is WAY more powerful, and more versatile than a dreamcast.....

You can argue with the first 2 but the PS2 is definately the lowest of the three. If you look at specs the Dreamcast beats the PS2 in some areas ex. Jet Grind Radio = Impossible to produce on PS2.

I'll defend my SEGA upbringing to my death. I eagerly await the return of the king. If it wasn't for dreamcast I wouldn't be here now as it introduced me to FPS and online play through Quake III Arena (Best online game experience ever)

Best Buy's PRP on PS2 = ownage. Ive still got a year left on mine, and theres a scratch on it! REPLACEMENT!

And, to put it blunt, GameCube sucks. The quality of games is what matters, and PS2 beats all 3 of them out. PS2 gets all the good titles, such as the GTA and GT series. Also, cant for get the FF series on PS2. Nothing really compares to whats out for it.

GameCube > PS2 ?!?! Maybe if you're into kiddish graphics and gameplay .. oh wait, are you Micheal Jackson? Okay, you were looking at specs .. how about the fact that the PS2 has been out on the market the longest? And the best part about that, is that its still one of the best (I won't say best because not all of us would agree ) My brother owns both a Gamecube and an X-Box ... even he dislikes the Gamecube after buying it and playing around with it - silly us and our Nintendo upbringing ..

As for PS2 vs X-BoX ... the main reasons I'd go with the PS2 are a) GT series b) GTA series c) FF series d) controller (sorry but I hate even the smaller X-Box controller)

Things I like about the X-Box a) easily modded thus cheaper to own .. hmms .. did I mention that it was easy to modify? (yes, the PS2 can be modded as well, but not as easily as the X-BoX .. hell, its fun copying the games directly to the harddrive and playing off that - silly Microsoft giving us a toy computer )

I've had my PS2 since they were released pretty much, and I don't have problems with it - though I detest it for playing DVDs as it tends to skip if the dvd has any sort of scratch/etc Just need to take proper care of electronic devices and they should take care of you

I like all four of the previously mentioned consoles. I like my Dreamcast better than the Gamcube though. Ever played Ready to Rumble boxing? What a blast!

I like the controllers for the Xbox the best because I have big hands and the larger controllers fit my hands very nicely. Those smaller controllers always gave me cramps in my hands after a while.

The only thing that I have to say, is even though the gamecube isn't marketed at you and more tward kids, I think metroid prime posesses the best graphics I've ever seen come out of a console, I think that game looked better then anything xbox or ps/2 have done. Other then that, the latest system I own is a dreamcast, but I never ever play it, I got out of the console phase after the N64 but I got a dreamcast for free so I figured wth.
