Aveerage $ for house in your state

Postby Face » Sun Dec 21, 2003 5:27 pm

What is the average cost of a house in your home state? Something like a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath with a full basement? Here in NJ, even the cheap towns are $300,000 for this. It is INSANE!

Maybe I need to move out of NJ.

Avergae price in The Colony, TX is $100,000 for 3 bed 2 bath. But in the North Texas area id say about $200,000 excluding all the big fancy CEO type houses. They dont count.

Dayton Ohio.. nice neighborhood, tri-level house. 2 1/2 bath, 3 bedroom for about 110,000.

Wow.. 300 grand? Seems unreasonable.

Cost of living is a bit higher here. It actually becomes even if you factor that in.
