allmost everybody uses tweak. I think I am the only one not using it.
I tried it once, but I got kicked every 5 minutes.

Tweaking isn't cheating...

I use basic tweaks for now, here are some you'll want to try Amaryl

r_intensity default 0..i set mine to 3, lowers the graphics of textures making it a little easier to see people that are blendined into a wall or area..also when you set this high lights shine brighter and hurt your eyes

r_mippic sets the brightness of textures and walls default is 0 i have mine set to 3. Brightens up the map and especially helpful when your playing on dark maps where it can be hard to see your enemy.

r_gamma this sets the brightness of the game overall, defualt is either 0 or 1 im not sure..you don't want to turn this to high.

cg_wolfparitcles- this setting is either off or on..When on youll see airstrikes raining down their line of fire, and youll see the explosion of grenades. When off youll see the airstrike thrown and hear it reign its line of terror but you won't see all the fire it unleashes. Also you wont see grenades explode but you can tell, when they explode a few white lines fly out. Youll notice them going off but it wont be shown and your vision won't be blocked by it. Very helpful in area like backstariway and War room..when theres grenade spamming in war room, with wolfparticles turned off, youll be able to see all the grenades, where if its turned on an sxplosion may block your view and you maky walk into another grenade.

sv_screenshake- some say this doesn't work but it does for me you'll jsut have to try it...This can be set from 0-5...5 is defualt. When you set it lower, explosions will shake your vision less, making it easier to play when grenade spamming is gonig on all around you. 0 turns it off completely.

cg_fov- 0-Inf. Default is 90...this setting changes your field of view, the higher you go the more you can see. When set higher you wont be able to see as far, things way off in the distance are harder to make out. To make up for this very small inconveince just wip out those binocs. I set mine to 125...you'll also notice your gun appears much skinnier.

Hope this helps you Amaryl, anymore questions about these feel free to PM me or post your question in forum.

Many more commands can be found here...

It will open in Wordpad most likely and is in a table format....

Heres an ECGN thread all about tweaking...

i know tweeking isn't considered as a cheat but i think it's stupid and retarded. never used anything to change the visuals i just have the normal ones from the game and my grafics are great and guess what i don't suck. so people should try and play without them.

these games are simulations of a war. not about green men walking around on a yellow map.

i can understand if you have to use it because youre computer is a mess. but most of you have really good computers and don't have to worry about those things. well i don't.

and paul i don't think amaryl asked for youre personal tweek settings.

Hehe , silver I have been crushed against the wall because of the tank in the depot map in ET more than 1 time, is funny to see how a body instead of being really smashed it explodes!
