Anyone have the Logitech Z-680 speaker set?
I currently have the Klipsch 4.1 system and after 4 years I think they might be going.
I was thinking either the Logitech Z-680 set or the Klipsch 5.1 Ultra set.

Buli, I own the z-680s and could not be happier with them. They are absolutely incredible. I've never looked back. If you're interested, I can see how much I can get them for. I "might" be able to swing you a decent deal. Let me know the lowest price you've found so far.
I didn't go Klipsch because that model had reported reliability problems at that time. They may have been corrrected by now. As you know, Klipsch typically makes great stuff.

Well, as an audiophilly, they SUCK. 99% of computer speakers suck. Heck, to me, Klipsch is only acceptable.
The best thing to do is by a refurb Denon or H/K receiver, and use some decent speakers. It will sound 50X better. i had a logiteck 5.1 system, and almost puked at how flat and shallow they sounded.
Now, you want some serious multimedia speakers, check out the Swan lines:

No, there is no dedicated 4(or more) channel system, but to me, surround sound on computers sounds like ass anyways.

Z-680's, using the optical out on my S.S. onboard, enjoying Dolby Digital 5.1.....and yes, they ROCK. They even sound friggin great for music, games, video, etc. As an audiophile, they're the best speakers I've ever owned outside of a home theater set. You can't buy better computer speakers in my opinion, and I've owned the same Klipsch you have now......

Gee i still have my Cambridge soundworks 4.1
guess no one wants my opinion but im giving it anyways. More then 100 dollars on PC speakers is overpaying unless your PC is now you Theater system.
My wife won't even let me turn up my 20w speakers so i have to use Headphones at night.
Wife: "What that thump thump sound"
