Anyone played KOTOR?
I just got Knights of the Old Republic. Anyone played it? It got great reviews. I will probably play during the BF1942 server slow times, like Saturday mornings.

Yep... awesome game... played through the light side, now playing through the dark side... dark side is cool because the more darkside points you earn, the paler your character gets, and his eyes turn yellow...
The plot is as good/better than the last two movies... very entertaining...

I played Kotor too, the game features almost 50 - 60 hours of game, I liked it too much, it is worth the buy IMO.
Nice story.
Nice graphics.
Nice sounds
etc..
You surely enjoy it but I have to say that It requires a Great high end computer with a new card if you want to run it on full deatil and max. resolutions, etc, but there is not any problem running it in low end computers, smooth on medium and low detail.

Very good game. Beat it as light jedi. Started as dark, but it was too soon. I will wait 6 monthes then play it through as dark.
I am currently LOVING Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell. if you buy POP this month, you get Splinter Cell for free. Great deal for two excellent games.

Jimmy - tell me more about POP. I was a huge fan of the first one, but I'm just a little leery of a 3D version of what used to be a side-scroller. I just remember an attempted 3D version that came out a few years back that was just awful.

I will tell you it is one of those games that went from platformer to 3D very well, much like Mario 64. The controls take a little bit to get used to, however. The ONLY problem is a screwy camera. The graphics are amazing. The reviews are vey justified, and it should be in the top 3 for game of the year.

I realize this is an old thread, but a friend just gave me this game. To be honest I wasn't even that interested in playing it, but when my boys (ages 7 and 4) saw Star Wars, they started begging me to play.
Man! This game is FUN! I should have listened to the reviews! (and you guys). If you don't see me on BF 1942 for a little while, you'll know why. hehe
So.. Bump!

My wife started playing it yesterday afternoon. She played for over 7 hours straight. She really likes it. We only have one computer so I may not be online as much either. ( I am still playing KOTOR, most of the way finished. I like it but play during off-times when the ECGN server has few people.)

This game is incredible! I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and have played it through 3 times already. Great story, great voice acting, great graphics, some hilarious characters...a great job by Bioware on this one.

50-60 hours? pfft, wussies, I got through it in under 30 hours first time around.
Great awesome game, the best star wars game ever.
There's 4 multiple endings, female dark and light, and male dark and light... =)
Guess who u fall in love with if u play as female...
did u guys know u can have ur characters run around in their underwear wielding weapons? haha it's funnie to see Bastilla fight in her bra and undies, likewise with the male characters, except they have some sort of jumpsuit on.
