I hope it lasts but I don't know...

There was the typical whiners that ruined it last time and they were back in full force. I heard everything from Tram map is too old to, and my favorite, "politics" on the vote. For the most part they were fun games minus the people who could not shut up about a good change. If they wanted their voice heard they should have voted. It's funny because the people who were complaining had posted nothing throughout the numerous threads.

My opinion, its a shit map, nobody knows what to do, and all disconnect. On beach plays 30 persons, and in tram 7 or 8 and 6 dont know where go. The games r eternals, and for me is a bored map.

Better assault, marketgarden or depot, where the players know what to do.

Tram is alright but its having alot of problems. Alot of people dont know what to do and alot have never played that map and people are getting disconnected when we change maps. Also people are having trouble with the fog. Its so bad for them they cant even see infront of them cause of graphix. Im sorry to say but i think the tram is kind of a bad idea. We should look to something else in my oponion like market garden, assault, chateau, and depot.

Assault is no, too big of a sky and single digit FPS.

Market Garden is a no because of the fact that its a custom map.

I can add Depot if you want.

First of all, if the majority want map rotation, then I fully support the idea. After all, I still believe in democracy.

Aphid...you insult people by calling them 'whiners and bitchers' (among a variety of other things) then insult people for not speaking their mind? You create a hostile environment where people can't say what they think...and then redicule them for not speaking?

There was no poll 'Do you want map rotation'. There are a lot of people who probably would have voted in that kind of a poll that would never say anything.

And then there are the people who strongly disagree with changes but laurel them as 'fantastic' publicly. Lets not even go there.

It is unfortunate we do not have a healthy venue in here for people to speak their mind. Naturally, I fully expect to get flamed by the usual core, and that is fine.

Im going to have to say a big No to depot...happy penguin runs it 24/7...Chateau would be a Blast and ive played about 10 rounds of tram and its the most fun ive ever had playing wolf. It is now my new favorite map, i was on today and didn't see any complainers, and there weren't admins on. It was a very peaceful game and it was an absolute blast. The rotation is the best thing thats happened to our server so far. Switching to Tram has kicked a lot of the shitty players that tend to just be easy kills and block. Yes i know there are a few shitty players that don't block and just want to come on and have fun. MMmmGood...i think you should add this message to those auto messages like ECGNetwork now offers wolf server hosting... add this "This server now also runs Tram, and provide an address to download from. I think that would solve the problem of people dropping. After a couple weeks the people that drop will eventually get the map pack and come back on. Im all for adding Chateau and making Beach, Tram, Chateau.

What are these other things I call people, Keekanoo? I'd really like to know. Although, yes, I called people whiners because they are. They do not want to speak up when these threads are going on and then after they start complaining after. Do you really think people say, "Oh, I am going to post in disagreement with a change but, wait, Aphid might disagree with me! I guess I'll just have to keep quiet."
