Patriots should have this. Although I haven't watched too many Panther games, from what I've seen their defense is pretty solid but not as solid as the Pats. Besides there wasnt much going on in the NFC besides the Eagles and Packers so New England should just roll over em.

As a long time Patriots fan It's great to see this team go to the Superbowl but in all honesty I feel theyv'e been overlooked for much of the season. All that shit about the Cowboys defense and McNair and Manning (both of whom Pats beat twice) and we got what 3 players going to the ProwBowl now?!

Only thing that worries me is the status of my main man #54 Teddy Bruschi who if you watched last night limped off the field.:( This ones for Law.

PS - Its extremely hard not to use the words "we/us" when talking about your favourite team.

Go Pats!!! As long as the coach keeps them grounded. I remember 2 years ago they were the underdog and they beat the Rams.

On a side note...who do you think would win an NFC Championship game: Eagles playing a Team of one legged blind midgets with terets? Before you decide...the midgets have home field advantage....

God...Can Philly please give me a team "in any sport" that doesn't choke?

Eagles losing makes my day :D

As a Cowboys fan this sums up my thoughts on the game. The only team I hate more than the Eagles is the 49ers.

Yes, on that note I did vote for the Patriots, they have a solid team and the NFC is considered the weak Conference this year. It won't help that the Cinderella team of the NFC was the one to actually make it to the Super Bowl. I'm w/ Ralph

Eagles out? (hehe):P

Going for the Panthers. I don't think they are going to win but I am rooting for them.

I was doing some contract work up in New Hampshire when the Pats went to the Superbowl last time and the fans were so friggin annoying. Not happy for us we are winning but everyone else sucks type annoying (after how many losing seasons?) Hell I used to be a Pats fan until that.

The reason there are not many Pats going to the Pro Bowl is because there aren't any real stand-outs. They play so well as a team that individuals don't get the same numbers/recognition that stand-outs do on teams that haven't done so well. Thats for defense anyway. They have no stellar offensive players.

And you think the Pats are good now? Wait. They have many good draft choice slots again for next year and they will have a strong core group even with their merciless hacking of players like they did to Malloy this year.

Hey did they riot in Philly after the game? I used to live there for a while and they get pretty damn crazy about the Eagles most of em seem to be from Southern Jersey tho. 3 times in a row ... ouch.

Also let me just further state that the Pro Bowl selections are based more on a popularity contest then pure skill for the most part.

If the packers had a clue, they should have made it to the title game and then they would have had a better shot at beating the panthers... but the Cats are peaking at the right time... Panthers D is officially No Joke...

Hope Yadad was joking when he said on TS the other night that the easiest money of the weekend was to bet on Peyton for the win, and that he didn't lose any elevation money in the process :D

That was an easy one to call... the colts, outside, against Belichik's D, in the cold.... AND... the colts suspect D against the Pats underrated O, with Tom Brady looking like the next Joe Montana (not eye-popping numbers, until you look under W's) adds up to: one(1) Patriots victory.

This game should be close, and will probably come down to turnovers and special teams... in other words who can force mistakes and commit the fewest mistakes.

Pats have the more talented players and the better coaches, so I have to go with them in a hard-fought game...

Make that two. I was thrilled to see McNabb bow out once again. I think the Panthers may do to the Patriots what the Patriots did to my Rams two years ago. I hope so, at least.

There is some truth to what you say Musashi X but consider the ideas behind that.

Patriots may be going to the Superbowl but you ask football fans and they would probably be about 99 out of 100 in taking Steve Mcnair, Randy Moss, and Priest Holmes on their team over Brady, Branch, and Smith. And I would argue thats true at pretty much every position.

There are definitely better players on other teams out there. The Patriots and Panthers played better as a team, had better luck, and were probably better coached and thats why they are where they are at.
