Ice rotation!
Awsome. The rotation is just awsome man. Hardly anyone is laggin out when map changes. Game runs smooth. No blocking problems. This is deffinately got to stay. One thing i would like to mention thought. The short rounds! The short rounds deffinately got to go. They are pointless now. Doesnt give fair rounds. One round is 24min next is 2 mins. maybe just make all 20 mins or sumthin. Other than that great!

yes, ice is awesome...I think they should play 2 rounds of it though instead of one. The reason for the short rounds because...if the axis sets a quick time...of like 2:30 seconds...then that means the allies switch...and have to beat it....it happens on beach too.
OHHHHHHHHHH! Now i understand. Thanks for the enlightment. It cool if you look at it from that point. But it still cuts the game time short. I like to kill them for a while. Maybe ill just stop running the docs as fast and do some ownage!

Yeah! I'm all for ice, but I have heard a couple people whine already. I think 2 or 3 people have dropped while i was playing because it was ice. I asked them why they didn't like it and they wouldn't give me any logical argument though. the only thing I don't like is that if you have a really no0b allied team, the round is too short. this server may populate with too many idiots to make ice actually work

no matter what setting is chosen or left out, somebody somewhere is going to be unhappy about it.
so we might as well fight for what the true regs like the most.
Also remember that this is the trial and error stage of rotation...

I agree with you barbie, there's always going to be ppl pissed about the way things are. some were pissed when tram was taken off some were overjoiced, and this is just the trial and error stage so now is the time to see what does and doesn't work.
I just finished up playing ice on ecgn for a little bit and I really like it, it works great for the server and is smooth and we don't loose too many people when we change.
One idea though is that when you have two maps running, make rounds somewhere between 15-20 minutes, because I feel people will be more inclined to stay in since some people arn't going to like ice and if it's reasonabally shorter it will probably keep them in, at least I think it will.

I think ice is a WAAAAAAAY better choice than tram, and I think the decision to take tram out was a wise one. For the few people that actually liked tram, its obvious in these forums and polls and even comments during gameplay that an overwhelming number of people opposed it from day one..... but its trial-and-error, right? No real harm done ... and I've joined those that are pee'ing on tram's grave
Overall: Im a tad disappointed that its no longer beach 24/7, and I'd perfer it was...but.... I can eventually accept a small rotation....especially since there are more rounds on beach than ice. I think ultimately, thats the way it should be.... alot became attracted to this server because of what it was (beach!) .....and I think it'd work best if it were maintained close to that .....even if a rotation is in effect. So, bring on trial-and-error rotations...but keep the beach rounds overriding!!

Wow, Ice certainly kicks ass on the rotation, way better than Tram. Ill hafta check in a lot more! Some crazy games and goombas from the top of the castle are gonna be fun as hell!
