More Problems Help!!

Postby syribo » Mon Jan 26, 2004 8:45 pm

Grr... so now Wolf is completely uninstalled, off the computer. I removed every file... I swear I checked everywhere. I finally got my CD-ROM back and i try to install, and it doesnt work. So then I try Uninstall and it wont work.

Then I go to Start, Run, E:/setup.exe and it says wolf already is installed BUT ITS NOT! IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING! I cant even pick a folder to put the files in.. it just does nothing when I click...

ar.....

Oh God... this sounds like quite a predicament, I'll look for a solution but I don't think I'll be too lucky... something pretty similair happened to me before... anyone got any ideas in the meantime?

Goto your start menu and go into "Run". Type "regedit" in that white box and then open it. Goto edit at the top of the screen and click on find. Search for Wolfenstein. Delete every instance of Wolfenstein that pops up. Once you delete one thing push F3 to search for the next entry of Wolfenstein in your registry. Keep doing that until it cannot find any more Wolfenstein entries and then try and install it. Do not touch anything else in your registry though. Only delete the entry if it has Wolfenstein in it. That should solve your problem. If it does not, do the same thing with Activision except change Wolfenstein in the search box to Activision.
