(lol)
How many times have the played wolf sinlge player? It took me all of 10 hours to beat, wow, what a HUGE addition to the game. i was pissed I paid 50 bucks for 10 hours of gaming.
And BF is all campers? It is obvious you have not played the game, or have not played on a good server. It is far from that.

You are on the other side of the world. BF uses a lot of bandwidth, as there is more information being pushed back and forth than wolf/et/MOH/etc. This is because of the edition of land, air and sea vehicles. Try playing on a server near you, the lag isn't that bad at all if you have a good connection.

lol, et's not that much better graphics than rtcw. CoD however, blows both out of the way. Wolf's not junk...wolf was way more popular competively than et will ever be. ET is just for pubbers...for one reason...IT IS FREE...Wolf was actually fun because there was a lot of competition back in the day....ET, it has some...but...it never did, nor will stack up to RtCW.
ya that is why there more are people in ET comp than Wolf. And you know this Mike.

I think ECGN is, for what-ever reason, more of a BF1942 friendly forum.
This is not a flame (although the sensitive people will take it that way). BF1942 is technically a superior game, but it's not for everyone. There are plenty of forums out there dedicated to, and flourishing with, Enemy Territory talk.
Wolf/ET are just dying on the branch here.

Yea, there is now....but back in RtCW's prime..there was over 100s of teams competiing in cal. ET "in its prime" doesn't even stack up. I do believe you missed my point.

Wolf is dying? mmmh I though that 1.5 years ago, and 1 year ago too, with BF, and also when ET comes...but I´m still playing wolf. The good games never die. If I could play Rainbow Island...thats a game!!!!

dont tell me you played it in like 10 hours.
you play on the easiest option then.
try playing it on hard and come back then.

ECGN beach seems to be losing players because most of the players were playing there because it was 24/7 beach and they dont have the new maps in the rotation or they don't want to play those maps. I was playing on TAo last night on their beach server and it was full from 1am till I went to bed at 6 am. Didn't seem to be dying there.
Eventually Wolf will die and when that happens I will install my copy of ET . I downloaded it months ago but am still having too much fun playing Wolf to try it. Besides that I am old and hate new learning curves.

true that good games never die....every now and then I bust out the original Nintendo to play RBi 3... the Wife LOVESSSSSSSSS to play Kaboom on atari with the paddle... some games last forever...
Having said that I will keep repeating myself to say that I'm sorry but I think it should go back to 24./7 Beach. The other maps are ok and I made an attempt (albeit a lame one) to learn them but they just don't seem to compare to the beach's action and layout.
If you want to play different maps, go to a different game.
It just sucks to ruin your momentum when you are on a beach roll... then you have to switch....

Yes, 10 hours. It isn't hard. Run into room, shoot everything moving. Go to next room, repeat. There might be a simple switch to hit to open a door. Doesn't take a long time to do this. I have played games like that since Wolf 3D. Doesn't take much to figure out.

I haven't been playing much on ECGN and i won't be, i have a scrim or match every other day and on the Saturday and Sunday. Plus my clan all plays on <ICE>'s server which is probally the best server for experienced players in wolf.
