Demo SP

Postby Tour of Duty » Sat Jan 31, 2004 7:03 pm

Hi guys, I don't know if you ever heard of it, but rtcw has a Single Player! :D :P
But for those who have a bit experience with SP:
how can I record a demo? With MP it's no problem, but when I typ in SP-console: /recorddemo it only says:
"g_syncronousclients must be 1" . I tried to change that in wolfconfig.cfg, etc. But no succes.
Anyone who can help me with this?

Furst I typed in my concole: "/g_syncronousclients1". Nothing happened. After that I went to my config to change it there. I tried to make a bind for my demo "/bind F12 recorddemo". But still nothing happened :(
So maybe there is another way to do it? :o

/seta g_synchronousclients 1
Console will accept the "seta" phrase,,
without that line^ It wont sink,
I got a vm error on playback you might not,,,
(sp has some nice graphics)

Synchronous clients is just something the console recommends every time you start a demo, its nothing really. Any time I start a demo in MP it says that, and it still records. Maybe its different for SP, have you checked all the files for the demos you recorded?

Yes, I looked afterwards if there were any demo-files in SP, but I couldn't find one. Maybe I looked over it.
First I'm gonna try what Cido said, if that doesn't work I have to check all my files again, and see if I can find something.
Thanks for now guys.
