My question, for all of those that point to the bible as the end all of the definition of marriage, why were their marriages before the bible? How could it happen before it was put into place?

The problem is you look at marriage threw your specific beliefs, and pushing that belief onto others. Not everyone believes as you do, and many of them follow the same bible you do. That right there is where freedom ends; when someone takes away another person's freedom.

Oh, I know, the next thing is to bring up far fetched 'next steps.' 'Where does it end? When someone can marry their dog, or maybe 12 of their relatives?'

This is the exact same thing that happened with women's rights, minorities' civil rights, workers rights, etc. There are peopel that think 'old school,' and those that are not hand cuffed by past generations' outdated beliefs.

If we could use religion, politics and seltzer water in a coversation, all carrying the same weight, the Middle East would be a place of peace and understanding.

I just like to say even though i dont agree with Rule of Wrist, he explains himself very well. If one is going to start an arguement, they should be prepared with a basis.

Everyone talks about beliefs. Whether you believe it or not, JESUS is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE and "no one" comes to the FATHER but through HIM.

Does not your conscience tell you when you do something wrong?

The BIBLE says, that GOD wrote HIS Law on our hearts.

These clergy that were arrested, what were they clergy of? Certainly not the CHURCH. They were clergy of a Religion.

Relegion will send ya straight to hell. All the wars going on now are because of Religion. Relegion is mans attempt to get to GOD. CHRISTianity is GODs attempt to get to man. To redeem man so, that man may have "relationship" with a living GOD.

Flame away, the TRUTH is a Person and HIS name is "JESUS."

I hope i'm misunderstanding you....because the way i interpereted your post, everyone who believes in religion will go to hell?

Hell exists BECAUSE OF religion. Christianity didn't make hell up, religion did. what you say doen'st really make sense to me :freak:

Right on Ralph. If you don't agree with the law, work to get it changed. Don't just break it an cry to the press and lobby groups.

So a male dog humping another male dog is not a homosexual act? Then, by your definition that same sex anamils having sex is not homosexual sex, no animals besides human have homosexual sex.
