1 Man 6,000 Seats
I was coming home from the mall today and heard this on the radio...
A guy named Mike Mahon from LA bought 3,000 tickets for two of the last 3 games of the dodgers season. His hopes were that he would buy the whole right field section of the ballpark (which he did) and it would gurantee him the ball from Barry Bonds, if he hit his 700th, 714th or 715th Homerun that day. The Giants are in LA for a 3 game series to close the year out, and Barry has a chance to hit these marks.
Then LA Dodgers told him that if a percentage of the seats weren't full, they would let fans in for free. (This is because they would lose parking, and concession money.) So McMahon responded by inviting 500 friends to come to the game for free. He said he strategically put them in groups of 3-5, and whoever caught the ball would split the profit 50/50.
Now for Barry to actually hit #700,714 or 715..it would require him to....23 more HRs to hit 700, and 37/38 for 714,715.
The other point i thought of, will be that the Dodgers will be in the race for a wildcard and their division (with the Giants). So why would LA pitch to him? He's already had a million Intentional Walks, and last 3 games of the season you don't Barry bombing away your season.
The third thing, is that Barry might not even hit it to RF, because he has the power he also has a lot of opposite field home runs.

Thats the reason why he's a dodger fan.... he's a moron. Besides any self-respecting and sport loving fan would give the ball back.
Besides the chances of Bonds hitting it there are going to decrease as the season goes on because most major leagues pitchers, save few, are big vaginas... and won't pitch to him.
If Bonds had some real protection, he'd be a real threat to break the record this year. I really don't see it happening.
Maybe next year, eh? Besides The Padres are going to win the NL WEST!!!! well, maybe not

I can't blame people not ptiching to him, but i saw on ESPN in walks (each is 90 feet) hes walked the entire length of the Golden Gate bridge. Instead of putting him on i just think you need to pitch away from him and get 4 balls on pitches that you tried getting him to swing at or nipping the outside low corner. If your going to walk him intentionally you mide as well just try and get him to chase. Just don't hang em' or he'll bang em.

Screw that! Barry Bonds can kiss my ass if he wants that ball back. I'm a reformed Pittsburgh Pirates fan (Go Braves) and I still remember that SOB saying when he left Pittsburgh for San Fran 'The Pirates have had their chance with me. I'm going to a team that can win the World Series'. Well, if he would have shown up in October the Pirates may have won a couple.
Twelve years later he still doesn't have a championship ring.
I say Mr. Bonds you'd better have an Ebay account and I prefer Paypal.

I don't mean to offend any baseball fans, but how can anyone like this game that much? I watch it for 10 minutes and I feel like taking a nap

As for giving the ball back, you must be an idiot! If you catch that ball, you will find yourself with a new house, a new car and better yet, a new computer.

i wouldn't want the burden of catching that ball so many bastards in cali are going to try to rape your ass for it once it hits the seats. Then you'll face a lawsuit that someone who's hand it glanced off of should be entitled to it.
If i did catch it, and i did live in SF, i would give it back, for some about 4 season tickets right behind home plate for the next 10 years.
The 73 home run ball didn't net nearly as much of a profit as they anticipated... the next 700 ball or the 715 ball might be worth the money.
I love baseball... i love the experience of going to the game... i've had some awesome times on baseball roadtrips, and thats something money cant buy. if you want me to explain it, i will.
