my friend lost about 40 pounds eating low carbs.

we see so many commercials about these diets because so much of north america's population is overweight.

The atkins diet actually works. if you stay on it, you'll definitely lose the weight. but once you've achieved your weight goal, get off it and start excersising and eating normally.

Yep, like everything else in life it's a matter of discipline.

Anyone know of someone that has used Cortislim successfully?

Time for my graham crackers and milk.

If you want a much healthier and better long term diet with low carbs, do a KETO diet.

Atkins is for sedentary overweight people, and alot of weight loss is fluid and muscle. If you dont mind that, go for it.

sound like the keto diet is very similar to atkins which makes the body create ketones this basicly is the chemical the body uses to unlock the fat stored in the body and burn it for energy. Since carbs/sugars would be the bodys first choice, your lack of them makes the body start using the excess fat. this is why i chose this diet it just makes most sence to me.

if you go on atkins, for the love of god, use breath mints!! when your body releases keytones, your breath can turn rank. This usually happens when you've been on it for several months. breath smells like gas or something...

What good is excersize if you eat all kinds of crap. The topic is about diets and how to eat better. Yes excersize is great for and will help you shed weight. But you also need to eat the right foods to lose weight, and that's what the topic is about.

I exercise my eyeballs as much as I can, watching noobs fly by me after being naded or panzered by some lame-o is hard work!!!

I did Atkins for a month to get me motivated, I lost about 10 pounds then switched to eating nothing but fruits and veges all morning/afternoon til dinner. Then had a small portion dinner. I lost another 15 pounds this way so do what you want.

The low carb thing got me motivated, then I switched to just eating healthy, so far I have kept it off for about 4 months, feels greaT!!!!!

Just watch what you eat and exercise. This should keep you from being a disgusting fat body that looks like 250lbs of chewed bubble gum.

hey is that even better then exercise???? I'll have to go ask Mr. Simmons ;) btw exercise is over rated!!! I think it has more to do with metabolism, some people can just eat what ever they want and not gain:roll:

I'm sick of the carb thing too but I find myself stuck in it now. Two months ago I found out I was Diabetic. It sucks but what can I do.

Eat sensibly and excersize.

END DIET CRAP.

It's that simple but people want this shortcut. Pisses me off. Lazy people.
