So he lets a trained professional hired to protect him from the lunitcs that made numerous death threats, carry a gun. So what? It doesn't make him a hypocrite in my book...

i could see the importance of this story if it were Moore carrying one, but it's his bodyguard.

I didn't think a person needed a license to carry in every state they visit, I thought states adopted a persons 'home state status' in regards to gun licenses. It's a good thing I never put this thought to the test.

ah, I just looked it up, it's called Reciprocity, same states do it, some don't. NY doesn't recognize any other states issued permits, but about 8 states recognize NY issued permits.

Would it be to difficult to just issue licenses nationally. Why make the extra work of doing them state by state?
