I think you are confusing Tactics with Enemy Territory, Enemy Terrotory the engineers are awesome, they do quite a bit ,in Tactics it's the same really,i think there are like 8 classes, demolitions is pretty cool, plant claymores and such, it's just like regular Wolf really, and the maps are pretty cool .You can be a ranger,an infiltrator, the engineer has a shotgun or grenade launcher, can't remember. i downloaded it and played just by myself to get a feel for it, seems pretty cool, will make for great online gaming, would like to see it on OC48/ECGN ( you know what i mean ), there are like 8 or 9 new maps with it too. Enemy Territory is totally different, you look different, the weapons are different, everything's different.....hope to see you guys on both soon.....

The website that Dante has a link to on his post has the best info on this mod.. but.. for u lazy beotches.. I'll paste some of the highlights...
Summary
Wolf Tactics is a class-based teamplay modification for Return to Castle Wolfenstein. 9 classes are planned, each with a unique combination of weapons and abilities. WT will fully utilize and support RtCW's gameplay types (Assault, Stopwatch, Checkpoint) as well as add several new types such as 'old school' double CTO (Capture the Objective, or CTF) and an altered version of Checkpoint called Capture & Hold.
Our most important goal is give players a polished mod that has well-balanced classes and weapons. Utmost consideration will be given to making the game easily accessible to new players, but gives people already familiar with class-based mods the chance to push things to the edge.
9 new classes:
Combat Medic - Battlefield Triage Specialist.
Demolitions Expert - Explosives, mines, grenades.
Engineer - Ammo, Armor, Shotguns and Sentinels.
Infiltrator - Stealth and Confusion.
Pyro - Playing with Fire.
Ranger - Speed and Mobility.
Rocket Soldier - Best all-around combatant.
Sniper - Patience and Precision.
Venom Gunner - Bullets. Lots of Bullets.
6 new maps!!!
Whew.. I may develop carpel-tunnel this weekend..

...sorry, I can't control my posting urges today....
for all of those Panzer hatin players out there.. mainly the ones who keep getting hit by one..
another pasting from the WT site:
"The Panzerfaust has been removed in favor of a faster firing but less damaging Bazooka"
I'm likin the sound of that!!
another addition::
"Artillery and airstrikes are not present currently in Wolf Tactics, though they are being examined for possible re-integration in future releases."
OMG!! I am in heaven! Sorry {ASB}..
