Focus!!

Postby Lord ZOG » Fri May 16, 2003 6:52 pm

It's not a video card because there is no external VGA connector. It's meant for something internal, but it certainly isn't an ISA device. VESA maybe?

I was going to guess some sort of memory expansion card (didn't memory come on expansion cards way back when?).

How about a clearer picture of it??

Do I win an all expenses paid trip to ECGN Beach, with all the sun block I can smear on my pasty-white body?

A+ Certification

Postby Lord ZOG » Fri May 16, 2003 6:58 pm

Pay attention kiddies, because I'm sure some A+ Certification Class will demand that you not only know what that thing is, but how to trouble-shoot it and how to configure it.

Damn, I love certification testing!

You guys are right. It's an old 4MB card of RAM from my Compaq 386 DeskPro.

I got one better - it's RAM pulled specifically from a Compaq computer.

LoL!!

That huge for 4MB of RAM?? hahaha

We can fit 1GB of RAM into something 9 times smaller than that today...Amazing isn't it....And after watching AniMatrix and realizing our dependence on machines, kind of freaky and disturbing...eek!

So what's the prize?
