You deleted your pr0n files didn't you...

Heh. I was messing with my StyleXPService installation and I accidentally disabled it thus rendering the hacked .dll useless to Windows. It wouldn't let me logon to my account because of a damaged or missing file.
I decided to repair/reinstall Windows - but that gave me a fatal error. So I had to reinstall Windows totally. Fun. I'm out of commission for the next day or two at ECGN.

I accidently deleted a boot file because I was trying to make Homer Simpson eating a dougnut the background instead of the Windows XP screen with the green bar scrolling across, and now it uses some .ini file to boot. I should really fix this, but it works and I would probably mess it up more to making it freeze while trying to post.

Evan & Sellout sounds like you both made the same error.
Sellout the file you messed up is the ntoskrnl.exe file found in the windows\system32 folder.
I think you both did wrong was copied it while in normal operation mode. Which has windows file protection on for certain extension, like .dll, .exe, .sys and acouple others.
To get around this so windows doesnt revert to the original reboot and hit F8 to go into safe mode and then change those file with those extension and then reboot in normal sound fix it.
Also sellout if you got service pack 1 then your want to use the file ntoskrnlSP1.exe but rename it to ntoskrnl.exe so you dont have any problems.
